Hi, I'm
Crystal Bruce.

I'm an aspiring children's writer and illustrator. I've always had a love for reading but I fell in love with picture books while reading to my own child. My love for stories was strengthened after spending time working in both public and school libraries. I currently live in rural Ontario, Canada with my husband and daughter.

My illustration journey has just begun. I came across paper cutting from (you guessed it) a book at the library. I build scenes with simple shapes and add life with watercolours and layering. The whole piece is captured through photography.
